Originally posed on Reddit, the question of "What Year is the Most Important Year in Human History?" offers up some interesting discussion. One might be able to argue that each year of human history offers up at least something substantial in the grand scheme of things. But what ONE year offered up the most to civilization? Or perhaps did the most devastation? Perhaps both? The professor would surmise that the year of his birth, 1983 CE, is the pinnacle of western civilization. Being sired into the universe lead mankind down a rabbit hole of intellectual inquiry.
But what do YOU think? Comment below with your answers and discuss among the other unwashed masses!
